Kyu Yang
Client Service Coordinator - Accounting
Kyu is a seasoned accounting professional with over 20 years of experience in a number of different industries ranging from Financial Services, to Manufacturing. She has literally been responsible for the timely financial reporting and bookkeeping for hundreds of clients. She has had the opportunity to handle all of the accounting for SEC regulated firms and broker-dealers, and is very familiar with complex consolidations and elimination of multiple entities, coordinating tax preparation and audits. She is very fluent with most financial accounting packages, including QuickBooks Pro, Sage ERP 100/MAS 90, and ADP.
When introduced to a new application, Kyu is very adept at quickly becoming a power-user. She gets tremendous pleasure from keeping everything in balance and having answers to questions before they are even asked. Kyu obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Western Washington University and has taken additional advanced accounting courses through UCSD. She was born in Korea but after spending fourteen years in Seattle, she and her family decided to move to San Diego where the weather is warmer. Besides her strong work ethic and impeccable organizational skills, she is an awesome soccer and lacrosse mom to her teenage sons and enjoys time volunteering at her church.
